Naturally, you'll want to know what is going to happen when 2nd Render Media makes a website for you. Hopefully we can explain here what it is that we'll do and when we'll do it. Essentially, we strive to make a website as good as it can be whilst keeping in regular contact with you to keep you up to date step by step. Planning The Website

Using the information you provide us regarding the general objectives of your desired website, we'll get to work on planning the website. We use our expertise to figure out the best method of creating your website (there are various ways, each suited to different web site types). We'll also come up with possible features to be included within your site that could help it to achieve its purpose.

Design

Based on what you may have requested and the initial plans, we'll then get to work on a design for you. Don't worry, we aren't leaving you behind. Once we have a rough design made we'll show you the results. You can then tell us if there's anything you like or dislike about it. We can make any tweaks or re-designs if you require. Only once you're happy with the design will we proceed to the next step.

Creation

The planning is finished, the design is approved by yourself and now the exciting part begins. Your website is ready to be created. We'll go through the process of creating all of the pages that the website is to have whilst coding the site in a way that makes it as accessible to as many people in the world as possible. There's nothing worse in web design than a website that doesn't display as it should for most if not all people. At each stage of the creation of your website, we'll keep you up to date. You'll be able to see the work as we go along so you can keep an eye on what's happening.

Testing

At this stage, to all intents and purposes, your website is in a completed state. However, there are various circumstances which can present problems to websites and so we'll test your new site for any of these problems. We'll ensure that all of the code is functioning as it should, check all links to make sure they are pointing to where they should be, test all pages and functions of your website in several web browsers and more. This will ensure that you have a website which runs smoothly for everyone who visits or uses it.

Search Engine Optimization

The key to the success of your website is getting as many people to it as possible. We will submit your site to several search engines including the most popular ones such as Google. This does get your website listed however it doesn't guarantee WHERE in the search engines your website will be listed.

To get the most visitors to your website that you can, your site needs to appear as one of the first results on the search engines or at the least it should appear on the first page. Luckily, websites can be optimized to appear higher up in the rankings on search engines. This is called SEO or "Search Engine Optimization". 2nd Render Media are currently in the process of setting up an SEO service for our customers or even those who already have websites but would like us to do their SEO.
